Tim + Jamie Engagement Story
Tim and Jamie were brought together through a common love for God, meeting at The Village Church . He was a senior in high school while she was the leader of the middle school kids. Although she was just out of school herself she could not help but notice him because in Jamie’s words “EVERYBODY just adored him”. She said she would always try to catch his eye in subtle ways trying not to make it too obvious. They dated a little bit and then Tim got accepted to the prestigious West point. After reconnecting years later through God again Jamie quotes “ We met up in may 2010 for the first time since he left 6 yrs ago, and right when we saw each other we knew… a beautiful story of God’s timing and our ability to trust Him.”
After talking with Jamie we decided the perfect location for this couple would be one of our favorite fields in the Dallas area to show their fun and ease that they have with each other. We honestly thought going into this session that Tim, an Army officer, might be too serious and not interested in pictures…boy was that the wrong impression! Tim and Jaime were so much fun to photograph–Tim even put on a bow tie for some pictures that I personally made with him in mind! It’s a lovely beginning and blessing to know that God directed their paths. They are not only beautiful people on the outside, but just as wonderful inside. They remind me of “Two Sparrows in a Hurricane” as Tanya Tucker once sung in a song. They are going to do great things together and I am so grateful the Lord gave me “Jamie” to raise from a child on earth, to ultimately come back full circle to her creator. I know Tim’s character is just like Jamie, and we are so proud to have him as a new son in our family.
